I gave it a shot
I stayed in a Standard King Room for one night and appreciated the smooth check-in process. The place felt updated, and I loved having easy parking right by my door. It was mostly clean, and I was grateful for the extra towels and soaps. For the price, it exceeded my expectations.

Convenient parking right by the door.
Upon arrival, I found the sheets dirty and had to switch rooms. The staff seemed clueless about my concerns, which was frustrating. On top of that, the safety issue with someone trying to break in made the stay incredibly scary, especially with my kids.

good stay but could improve on basics
The location suited my needs well, given its proximity to the Industry Zone. The floor in my room was recently replaced, adding a modern touch. I also appreciated having easy parking right by the entrance, making it convenient for my group.
While the stay was enjoyable, I felt some basic amenities were lacking.

It was just a decent option for a weekend trip in La Puente with value for price. The easy parking right at the front was a plus for us. If you need something, be ready to ask multiple times.

Checking in was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly, which set a good tone. The room had a nice layout and I appreciated the fridge and AC. It felt safe with the security guy making rounds. However, the room had a musty odor at first, which wore off after a bit. The furniture looked worn, and the chair was dirty. The WiFi was frustratingly slow. Basic amenities like a microwave and coffee maker were missing. I expected these in a hotel at this price. I liked the easy parking right by my door, and it was convenient for nearby errands. Overall, the stay was decent but definitely needed some upgrades and better cleanliness.

The hotel offered a solid stay with a nice room design and the convenience of having a drive-by security guard keeping an eye on things, which made us feel more at ease traveling with our kids and two dogs.
In my wife’s opinion, having more trash cans and better housekeeping would be great.
